BRISTOL — While for many Sunday is a day of rest, more than 50 people spent Sunday afternoon dancing in the ballroom at the New England Carousel Museum…

The museum hosted the nonprofit New England Western Dance Association’s Holiday Party, which brought association members and the public together to dance, while swapping cookies and holiday cheer.

Line- and partner-dancing is their specialty, but NEWDA members get on their feet for both country and other genres of music. They hold parties twice a month, and this weekend’s visit marked their second time at the Carousel Museum.

Updated the Sponsor’s Pages

Created the sponsor pages for the site. I added a few pictures and things. If you would like to have a page on our site – become a sponsor. It’s inexpensive, only $60 a year – and we will give the reminder of 2013 FREE!

  1. Your advertisement will be seen regularly by hundreds of dancers on the website and in our newsletters emailed to all our members.
  2. Have an announcement or special deal?  Let us post it.
  3. Rotating advertisements on all our web pages
  4. A “business” page – one page ad on our site, external links to your web site (coming soon)http://newdact.com/yourbusinessname
    • You will need to provide the content and up to 2 images for your page

What is the cost for a sponsorship ad?

  • We want to keep the costs low and the benefits high.  That is why a year long sponsorship is only $60

What do I need to do?

  1. Come to one of our dances and get a form or fill out the form below and we will get in touch with you.
  2. Fill out and return the sponsorship form with your payment.
  3. Supply a 180px X 120px “business card” image (png preferred) for our rotating ads.
  4. Send us your “business story” and 2 high res images for use on your page via email.
  5. That’s it!

Once we have all your information your ad will go in rotation.  We randomize the appearance of ads on every page to give everyone a chance to be first.  We will generate a business page for you and send you your login information to contribute to our blog.

Training Re-Scheduled

The training class for the NEWDA board has been rescheduled for tomorrow March 5th.  Same place and time ..  Rockwell’s CT at 3:00.Typing_Keyboard

There will be a training class for the NEWDA board members on 2/5/2011

Computing, Consulting & Training, LLC will be hosting a training class at Rockwell’s in Plainville of Saturday February 5th.  This class will be for the board members and committee chair persons for adding content to the NEWDA web site.

Stay tuned for additional information being shared as more people expand their ability to contribute to the NEWDA web site.
