The Fun Dance on July 21st was lively with a great crowd

As always thank you to the members Barb Prindle, Joanne Lynn, Betty Baia, Jean Dews and Charlene Williams who donate to the dessert table.

Wow, the hall was filled.

Matt Collins kept everyone dancing, both couples and lines.  Lynne Flanders taught Cabana Boy and it left everyone smiling.

This is a beautiful venue for dancing with a wood floor and A/C.  Tickets to our summer outing on July 7th will be on sale at this dance.

 

 

What a great NEWDA Night

 What a great night of dancing at the Old Town Hall.  We wished our DJ Alan Kohn a happy birthday and he played all our requests and asked for more.

  Aric Lemieux taught Just For Grins to Little Deuce Coupe that fit the theme of the night perfectly.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Thank you to Betty Baia, Lynn Janco, Charlene Williams, Lynne Flanders and Barbara Prindle for the snacks/dessert donations.  Thank you Jean Dews, Nicole & Jacque and Sheryl & Aric , Lynne Flanders, Lynn Janco and Barbara Prindle for the donations of raffle/door prizes.  We had a large variety to choose from.

 

 

 

 

 

 

  

 

 

 

 

 

Thank you Lynne and Lynn for greeting us so cheerfully, we had a lovely time dancing on the great wooden floor in such a beautiful hall.

Our Antique Day & NEWDA Night dance is Sunday, June 2nd.

 Join us June 2nd  for  “ANTIQUE DAY AND NEWDA NIGHT” 

at Old Town Hall 5 Mountain Rd, Woodbury, CT
5>9pm all-request dancing with DJ Alan Kohn 

and a Mini Lesson by Instructor Aric Lemieux

Donations to our raffle & snack/dessert tables are greatly appreciated.

BYO ~ NEWDA will provide coffee/tea
Cover = $9 members / $11 non
Parking across the street at Post office or LaBonne’s
If parking on street, DO NOT block any driveways
Parking on Mountain Rd is only allowed coming down the hill.
(town police are VERY strict ~ watch your speed limits too)

Lion’s Club’s Antique Car show at Hollow Park in Woodbury

Join us at our Stars & Stripes Dance in Torrington

Friday, May 17th from 7:00pm to 11.00pm at the Knights of Columbus, Rte.202, 152 Litchfield Street, Torrington, CT.  

Dance on a nice wooden floor with friendly dancers. 

 

NEWDA dance on May 4th had lots of new.

At a new venue there were many new people dancing on a great wooden floor in Oxford at St. Peter’s parish hall.

 

 

 

Laurel Curtiss was our new instructor and taught Barefoot Blue Jean Night.   Aaron Demarest was the DJ for the night and Lynne Flanders our President had everything running smoothly.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Thank You to everyone who brought food to share including Laurel Curtis, Carol C., Charlene Williams, Sheryl M., Barbara P., Peter & Nancy Jenkins, Lynne Flanders, Joanne Lynn and Marilyn R.  There was a great variety enjoyed by all.
