The Summer Fling Dance

 

We welcomed Paula Frohn we were all happy to see you and Michael Silva played every song on our list. 

 

 

 

 

 

As always everyone was very generous with donations of food, door prizes and raffle prizes.

 

Next Dance June 21st, Victorian Room, Thomaston

 

 

 

This is a beautiful venue for dancing with a wood floor and A/C.  Tickets to our summer outing on July 7th will be on sale at this dance.

 

 

What a great NEWDA Night

 What a great night of dancing at the Old Town Hall.  We wished our DJ Alan Kohn a happy birthday and he played all our requests and asked for more.

  Aric Lemieux taught Just For Grins to Little Deuce Coupe that fit the theme of the night perfectly.

Join us at our Stars & Stripes Dance in Torrington

Friday, May 17th from 7:00pm to 11.00pm at the Knights of Columbus, Rte.202, 152 Litchfield Street, Torrington, CT.  

Dance on a nice wooden floor with friendly dancers. 

 

NEWDA dance on May 4th had lots of new.

At a new venue there were many new people dancing on a great wooden floor in Oxford at St. Peter’s parish hall.

 

 

 

Laurel Curtiss was our new instructor and taught Barefoot Blue Jean Night.   Aaron Demarest was the DJ for the night and Lynne Flanders our President had everything running smoothly.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Thank You to everyone who brought food to share including Laurel Curtis, Carol C., Charlene Williams, Sheryl M., Barbara P., Peter & Nancy Jenkins, Lynne Flanders, Joanne Lynn and Marilyn R.  There was a great variety enjoyed by all.

Everyone got a door prize and the raffle table was a delight. Thank you for the donations from Aric & Sheryl, Lynne Flanders, Joanne Lynn, Carol C. and Barbara P.

April 27th volunteers, donations, helpers…Thank You!

  Many of the members and non-members helped out in the Victorian Room before, during and after the dance.  It made the night go smoothly and added to the fun. 

 There were baseball door prizes and baseball candy. Hats were on each table to encourage dancers to get with the theme.  Thanks Lynne for the donation of all the “baseball” caps. 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Charlene made the coffee and set up the dessert table with donations of food provided by Joanne L., Lynne F., Barbara P., Gail R., Char W., Betty P. and Pat K.

 Greg Van Zilen, our DJ, and Sam his wife taught the partner lesson “Love You All Over” to Lovin’ You is Fun by Easton Corbin.
